At 3DEO, we use process controls to track the quality of the part before it is completed. This allows us to catch and reduce any variability that may occur in real time. By watching these process controls, we can understand the predictability of performance and take corrective action if anything happens.
It is important have part-to-part, machine-to-machine variation minimized. We do this in order to reduce variation in all parts and be as close to nominal as possible.
The great thing about 3DEO is that our processes do not degrade. In traditional manufacturing, tools can wear down overtime. With other 3D printing processes, lasers will degrade and printheads can clog, causing more variation in the process. 3DEO’s Intelligent Layering technology does not experience degradation at any step of the process, allowing us to have predictable performance.
